Muss honored with 2012 Umberto Veronesi Award
Hyman Muss, MD, professor of medicine and leader of the UNC Lineberger Geriatric Oncology Program, was honored with the 2012 Umberto Veronesi Award for Medical Education by the Inter-American Breast Cancer Conference at their annual conference in July.
The award was given in recognition of his passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of health care professionals with interests in oncology.
