The Adult Family Motel Unit and Housing Program at UNC Health Care assists patients and families with finding suitable accommodations when needed. Program staff can also answer questions about available accommodations.

The Adult Family Motel Unit and Housing Program handles reservations
for the following accommodations:
Motel Unit - Thirteen dormitory style units available, 2 - 3 people per unit. Must have a doctor's referral.
Holiday Inn Chapel Hill, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn Suites, Residence Inn,
Homestead Suites - discounted rate available for UNC patients and their families.
Please note: Reservations and cancellations for the motel unit and the listed
hotels must be made through the Housing Program. Learn how.

Two main places to stay are:
SECU Family House - Due to a burst pipe in the main sprinkler system on Monday, July 14, Family House is closed for repair and restoration for at least 3-6 weeks.
RV Accommodations – For RV Parking, contact Tarheel Mobile Court at 919-942-3124. Tarheel Mobile Court is located 2.5 miles from the hospital on Airport Road behind the Citgo Station/Mini Mart (1200-A Airport Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517).
